Operation
1. How it works
The purpose of Easy Jazz TV is to promote independent jazz artists and their music. All music videos are aired only with the express written consent of the copyright holders. Easy Jazz TV does not charge to air artist videos, nor do we pay artists for airing of their videos. Easy Jazz TV is a not-for-profit service that is strictly promotional in nature. In addition to airing your video(s) on our TV Channel, we may also decide to air your music on one or more of our licensed radio stations. If this is the case, we will purchase your music online and pay you royalties through the various major licensing bodies which include ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, GMR, AllTrack, SOCAN, Re:Sound, PPL, and PRS, covering the United States, Canada and the UK.
2. Get your videos on Easy Jazz TV
If you are an artist who would like to be featured on Easy Jazz TV, email us at: easyjazz@bell.net providing us with written permission to air, along with the link or links of the YouTube videos you wish to promote. Be sure to include your website address as well, since we will include it at the end of your video(s). Note that you don't have to send us the video files themselves, just the links, and we'll take it from there. If we decide to air your music, we will notify you. Thank you!
3. When your videos will air on Easy Jazz TV
You can inform your fans to see your videos by asking them to add Easy Jazz TV to Roku-TV, Amazon Fire TV or Google TV, or view on the web at this web address: https://easyjazz.tv. The times your video will air are listed in our playlist which can be found here: https://easyjazz.tv/playlist/. Note that we use the 24-hour format and that all times are in the Eastern Time Zone of North America.
4. Easy Jazz Spotlight
Each week, Easy Jazz TV airs "Easy Jazz Spotlight" - featuring interviews with new and veteran jazz artists. The Spotlight also airs on our YouTube Channel and our Spotify podcast (in addition to other major podcast platforms including Google and Amazon). Recent interviews have been with such notable artists as Sergio Mendes and Ava Cherry. When you send us your video links, feel free to let us know if you're open to being interviewed for our show. If so, we'll follow up with you to arrange a date and time. Easy Jazz Spotlight is followed by 20,000 jazz fans across the globe.
